Wirtshaus Strassenmuhle in Wiesbaden

Today we ordered two schnitzel, one with chips and one with fried potatoes. Unfortunately the fried potatoes were totally burned.

Due to the current situation (Corona), we have ordered food for four people to be picked up. Apart from the fact that the food was very tasty (and also warm), everything went perfectly from the order to the communication to the pick-up - always gladly :-)

Apfelstrudel with vanilla souse is amazing!!

Extremely nice staff, flexible, quick, humorous. The food is traditional Bavarian, good beer. What more do you want?!

Very quaint. Beer garden is very nice. If you like Bavarian (meat) cuisine, you will definitely find it.

Tonight (09/26/2020) we went to the restaurant and we made a reservation on the internet long before we got to the restaurant (this morning). Our reservation was for 2 people at 7:27 p.m. for September 26th, 2020, i.e. for today and we received a confirmation by email after filling out the reservation form. When we got to the restaurant, one of the waiters at the entrance saw us and came up to us. He didn't greet us and we told him we had booked a table for 2. He told us there was no more space and we explained again that we had made reservations on the internet. Then he told us that he hadn't received a reservation and that there weren't any free tables anyway. He also explained to us that given the regulations with the virus, there must be a free table between each table. In the end he told us that unfortunately there was no free table. He didn't apologize and didn't try to find a solution. This gentleman was in no way pleasant to us and we felt too much in the restaurant, we went very disappointed and very angry as we couldn't wait to eat at your restaurant again and we went through rain and cold to get there (we walked 30 minutes to get there). We have been there twice and enjoyed the service / food but unfortunately given the experience we had tonight we will not be going back.

The tables were cleaned in an exemplary manner and the chairs were extremely comfortable. I am happy to come here with my relatives and I can rely on being looked after without complaint. I was completely pleasantly surprised. We'll both be back in any case. Try this good kitchen, on the menu in the guideline there is something for everyone.

Guests are left out in the rain with their children and their knees if they don't like the condition. Reservation doesn't matter. Everything is denied, we are perfect, the guest is to blame ... Never again.

Actually quite nicely located restaurant with a nice beer garden. The service staff were very friendly when they were greeted, but very unstructured in their service. We would have liked to have had more drinks but after the first drink the service stopped. The food is ok, but the service was a faux pas here too. The salad was very sandy. When we tried to point this out to the waiter (we all had a side salad that was charged in full but neither of us ate it because of the sand) we immediately cut us off. We couldn't finish our friendly criticism. What a shame!!!! Well meant is not well done!

Lovely Bavarian style beer garden in Hessen

Very tasty dishes, absolutely attentive service, especially from Thomas, individual, personal address to the birthday child, all in all a successful evening. We are particularly happy to come during Cotona times, as the hygiene requirements are also adhered to. You can only be recommended!

Zuuuu wild

The food was underground on this visit !! Sausage salad with fried potatoes. The sausage salad wasn't even a child's portion, so it was “very clear” and the fried potatoes were soft and swam in the fat. Disgusting!!!! Normally I'm used to here and different quality, but that was an imposition on Friday. I complained accordingly when paying. We got a schnapps. I would have preferred a good meal.

Great atmosphere there in the Bavarian beer garden. Unfortunately, I have to subtract two stars for the meal, because the knuckle I had had softened from the warming up and was unfortunately no longer crispy. But would definitely go back anyway because the rest of the concept is consistent.

Ambience very nice !!! Price-performance of the food is not right at all Were there 3 times within 14 days, 3 times the salad with shrimp was served differently, the schnitzel was oozing with fat. Never again ... thank you very much

A great beer garden, super friendly service. Delicious food (fried potatoes were really well browned). We were there with 8 people and although the beer garden was fully occupied, the staff always found time to ask if everything was okay and we still have any requests. It couldn't be better! We'll definitely be back

It was very good again! Although the restaurant was well attended, the conditions and the food were very good ??????

Ambience is nice and service very hard. Portions of the size are very manageable. The chef is unfortunately very rude to guests. When asked after 75 minutes when the food comes, only the cheeky saying comes: "When it's ready". It's a shame, I'll think twice about further visits.

Nice beer garden. Unfortunately, that was it. The food used to be much better. Schnitzel are dry, out of the deep fryer. Fried potatoes very fatty. Service tries hard, but everything takes a long time .....

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Top: manageable menu - super delicious main courses WITHOUT glutamate sauces :) The only downside: The apple strudel is unfortunately not homemade as stated on the card ... Do not misunderstand the goods were good, but not to be compared with a homemade. For this the star deduction, otherwise everything was really great and we would love to come back !!

When is sitting outside under the trees? The service is friendly and fast, the food comes quickly on the table and all of us tasted 5 very delicious. You like to come back. The portions are neat and the prices are absolutely fair for what is offered there

I like it very well

I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic our dinning experience was. We exact had different things and everything was so delicious! This is a German restaurant, but NOT your adverage 'hole-in-the wall'. They show case your typical pork or chicken schnitzel and käsespätzle (which are top notch), but my fiancé had the pork roast that was melt in your mouth delightful! We will recommend this to others who are looking for a lovely German dinner! Thank you!
